Let Nom Nom Cafe bring the party ambiance to you - Choose from their Mobile Cocktail Bar with amazing iced raspberry gins and mojitos to their Mobile Coffee Bar with delicious “Calendar Coffee” and creamy hot chocolates. They’ll even supply the music, handmade signs and a gazebo in case of showers. Perfect if you are having a small family party maybe with a larger celebration at a later date. Planning a pandemic wedding? This mobile bar is a fun way to feed 25 guests outdoors!

It’s a tricky time to be getting hitched.

According to Level 3 restrictions, currently in place until October 27th, a Covid-compliant wedding can have no more than 25 people at the ceremony and reception. If the situation goes downhill even further, Level 4 and Level 5 allow only six guests to attend.

Many couples who are planning on pressing ahead and tying the knot anyway have settled on a small family party for the big day, followed by a proper bash later on when The Virus isn’t stealing all the limelight.

Now a local mobile bar is getting in on the act, offering the perfect alternative to a sit-down dinner for your nearest and dearest, without the worry that it will all be cancelled at the last minute.

The Nom Nom Café has just launched a set of custom packages with reduced rates for gatherings of up to 25 people.

“We are reaching out to brides/grooms/event planners who have had to face reducing their guest lists once again.”

“We don’t want people to lose hope and feel completely disheartened about their special day that they have been planning for months, even years… it’s a very stressful time for couples and we still want them to really enjoy and make the most of their day.”

You can book a pop-up cocktail or coffee bar to pull up in your choice of location for a half-day (2.5 hours) from €249. If you choose the cocktail bar option, you supply the alcohol and the Nom Nom Café will shake it up into a mojito or a fruity gin smash.

The coffee bar option will serve up freshly brewed barista drinks and hot chocolates alongside delicious shortbread fingers. They’ll even supply the music and a gazebo in case of showers.

Easy Peazy Frappucino Recipe - Nom Nom Cafe

Little video of our delicious frappucino recipe, really easy recipe, all you need is:

Double espresso shot of coffee
200ml of your preferred milk
Ice (1 cup) or you can freeze your coffee in ice cube trays

Add all ingredients into the blender & Voilà!

Optional extras: flavoured syrups/cream/sprinkles yum!

A lovely feature in The Irish Examiner which we had the pleasure of being part of for James & Yvonne's wedding at Castlemagner Church, Co. Cork.

"The chance to grab a coffee and a treat before heading across the border to Co Kerry for the reception in the Killarney Oaks Hotel proved a real hit with the guests. “We had a coffee cart outside the church by NomNomCafe,” said Yvonne".

"Hazel & Brendan were a pleasure to deal with, fast responses to my late night emails and so helpful! Their stand was beautifully presented and personal- it went down a treat with guests after the church, everyone loved it and we felt it was a great way for people to chat comfortably outside the church. Lots of guests had travelled a long distance to the church so it was lovely to be able to give back and allow them to refuel before heading on the 50 min spin to the reception. Great value for 250 ish guests. Highly highly recommend them".

"The venue did the main catering, while Nom Nom Café provided a mobile coffee cart outside after the ceremony. Sam said, “They set up on the grounds of the jail and served our guests hot drinks and biscuits. It was perfect. We had amazing weather on the day, and there were picnic benches, so people were able to wander around and enjoy the weather and delicious treats.”

Erin Balfour - "When a bride says she has a thing for skulls, you know she means it when they’re right there in the design of her wedding dress! And when you hear the couple married in a jail, you imagine it to be a dark and moody setting. Not a bit of it! This is one beautifully light and airy wedding with just the right amount of edge".

As with all good weddings, the day, held in the West Wing of Cork City Gaol, with the reception following at Jacobs on the Mall, mixed together elements that represent the couple, both together and as individuals. “We both have a love for anything alternative. I have a thing for skulls; my engagement ring has skulls on it. Leo is a huge heavy metal fan, so we tied the two of those things together and had a lot of colour and skulls for décor. The table names came from popular gig venues both local and abroad.” And it also happened precisely the way they wanted it to, with a break from tradition, “We shied away from the typical Irish wedding of the church and hotel and did our own thing. We had a non-religious ceremony in an historical venue and held our reception in a restaurant, which we took over for the day. We had complete control from beginning to end.”

"We had the Nom Nom Cafe at our wedding last weekend. Their professionalism, service and quality of their tea and coffee was outstanding. All our guests raved about all of the above. Highly recommend them for anyone's wedding or events. Thanks again".
